DID YOU KNOW: ADVICE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL
OVERVIEW
MOOG offers a wide range of car parts for steering and suspension parts for light vehicles. There are over 10,000 part numbers for different product categories and all of them are clearly labeled for identification purposes. This is why MOOG has developed an intuitive part numering system.
MOOG part numbering system consists out of four sections.

- The first section (1) indicated as XX stands for the main car make.
For example, "AL" stands for Alfa Romeo, and "FD" stands for Ford. - The second section (2) of the part number here shown as YY stands for the type of part.
For example, "BJ" means Ball Joint and "LS" stands for Link Stabiliser. - The third section (3) of the part numbere here shown as ZZZZZ stands for unique part number of the product.
- The optional fourth section (4) indicates the packaging of the product. If the "P" is mentioned, the product is packed in a plastic bag. Otherwise, the product is packed in a carton box.
