OVERVIEW

A long service life for any bush can only be achieved if it had been correctly installed on the control arm. A prerequisite is using the right tooling and the appropriate method to press the bush into the control arm body hole.

In addition, some bushes require specific radial and/or axial positioning to perform correctly once the vehicle is in operation. These bushes include dedicated markings to indicate the correct bush position. However, the markings are not always clearly visible.

A correct axial position is also critical as the right pressing depth will allow an easy installation of the reworked control arm onto the vehicle.
